About our Journey
The seed of ArtMandi got embedded in our founder mind during 2014 summer when he visited Bishnupur, a historical place in West Bengal famous for its century old Terracotta Temples.
During his stay at Cambridge,UK while doing his MBA & also at Berlin,Germany while working for BMW motor cycle company he have visited many Art & Craft exhibition where the Replica of Ancient Artifacts was sold at an exorbitant cost (100x more than the cost given to the Craftsman). In India all the talented artists/Craftsman not getting their due credit & badly getting exploited by the middle man. Due to that they have been forced to look into different sources of income to fulfill their daily need where their own creation is getting sold at 100 time more valuation in other countries.
That day our founder decided to build a platform which will help the artists/Craftsman to get their actual reward of their skills.
It couldn't be materialised earlier due to many factors/reasons but he didn't let his vision die due to advisory in Life. He kept the domain for past 8yrs with the hope of reviving it in the future.
Now the day have come & we have finally launched our website publicly. Long way to go as lots of challenges are there in our way. We are hopeful that one day we, along with our founder will realise the vision which he have envisioned 8yrs back.

We also offer local tour at our workshop where the customer can get in-hand experience of the Craftsmanship & complex processes involved to create a single master piece.
